Who we are

Founded in 1989 by Paul Blackledge, the company quickly grew. When Paul sadly passed away in 2012, his wife, Nicola, continued to run the company until Paul Blackledge Drilling was acquired by the RSK Group in 2018 and became PB Drilling.

The company has built up an excellent reputation within the industry and provides a professional, reliable, efficient and cost-effective drilling service carried out by competent, qualified and experienced drillers.

PB Drilling works with many leading geotechnical and site investigation companies and has delivered numerous major contracts throughout the UK.

The company takes a proactive approach to the health and safety of its employees and is constantly reviewing health and safety training and safe working practices.

Sustainable activities and social values are measured annually against environmental, social and governance (ESG) objectives.
